My Thoughts

I harbor a deep appreciation for digital art, a passion that has fueled my creative journey and career. However, I believe in the importance of exploring diverse artistic mediums as they offer a unique perspective and serve as a valuable teacher in honing fundamental design principles and techniques. There’s definitely an undeniable thrill in venturing into the realms of traditional mediums!

My personal favorites are charcoal and paint–these tactile materials challenge me to shift my focus towards the depth and negative spaces within shapes, as opposed to merely outlining the contours of an object.

Through the medium of charcoal, I learned to capture the essence of shadows and highlights. When it comes to painting, I just find immense joy in how the paint brush feels when it glides across the canvas!
