Brief

I am an avid scuba diver and one of my personal hobbies is capturing the mesmerizing underwater world through the lens of my camera. I make it a point to embark on at least one diving expedition each year, exploring diverse countries and dive sites. Scuba diving serves as more than just a recreational activity for me; it’s my source of profound tranquility much like the practice of meditation. There’s something magical about the moment when you submerge into the depths of the unknown and the rhythmic sounds of your own breathing become a comforting companion.

Reflections

Beyond the joys of exploration, scuba diving opened my eyes to the environmental challenges our oceans are facing, such as climate change and ocean acidification. I remember returning to one dive sit in Ohau, Hawaii, after 3 years only to find cliche and dying coral reefs that were once full of life. It was so disheartening to witness this firsthand, and as someone who currently works in the beauty industry, I’ve been actively promoting awareness about the environmental impact of plastic waste generated by beauty product packaging. 

I am passionate about advocating for marine conservation and championing initiatives that promote sustainable packaging in the beauty sector.
